FASHION FRIDAY!
My Young Adult romantic comedy, Haute Mess,
features, Lucy, an aspiring fashion designer who doles out fashion advice.
I'm not a fashion professional, but thought it'd be fun to share
some of my (& Lucy's) thoughts on fashion "issues."
Let's talk POCKETS!
Yes. Pant pockets. On your butt.
It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the smaller the back
pockets, the bigger your butt is going to look. If pockets are placed lower on the
buttocks, the less they will look like the dreaded "mom jeans." You want your cheeks to look small and tight,
not large or oblong. Even if they are, you have the power to make them appear
otherwise. Sometimes dressing ourselves is almost like being a magician - we have the opportunity to make things seem different than they really are.
If you have a flatter rear, try pockets with flaps, buttons, or
zippers. If you have a little junk in your trunk (aka bubble butt) try a plain pocket with or without a design. Have an in between bottom? Have fun and experiment with your choice of pockets. If you have a small, round, tight ass - you suck. : )
Just remember the one simple rule of the pocket theory: the smaller the rear pocket, the bigger your butt will appear.
Any thoughts or questions on pockets? Am I totally lame for adding fashion to my blog?
Fashion advice is a must. Especially in a YA novel aimed at young girls. And it's true! I avoid pockets when I can. :P
ReplyDeleteThe smaller the pocket, the bigger the rear. Got it! Great advice - thanks:)
